Tootekirjeldus inglise keeles:

A conventional (single-string) bow is used to shoot arrows through the energy accumulated in the arms of the bow and transmitted by the archer's muscles. The category of conventional bows includes bows with one string stretched between two ends of the arms (griffins). In these bows, the force needed to achieve full draw increases all the time. Fingers are used to release the string, which must be protected by using an archery skin or glove (for Mediterranean grips). When shooting with the thumb, a caliper is used, i.e. a special ring for the thumb.

Specify the following types of conventional bends:

recreational - bows of various construction, used for recreational archery, usually with a low draw force;
recurve classic/Olympic - Olympic bows made of a grip, reflex arms and accessories, used in Olympic archery and field archery in recurve (Olympic classic bow) or barebow (bare bow without accessories);
traditional - bows made of one piece, mainly of wood and a laminate of glass and carbon fibers. This group includes the following types:
longbow a bow made of wood in which the string does not touch the bow at any point except in the fingerboard;
eastern short arch horsebow, a short recurve bow designed for horse archery, successfully used in field archery;
field / hunter - both folding and one-piece bows, most often with reflex arms, used for field archery and hunting.
In archery, all technical data values are expressed in the Anglo-Saxon measurement system:

LENGTH: inch: in ["], 1" is 2.54 cm;
WEIGHT: lb: lb/lbs [#], 1 lb is 0.45 kg;
SPEED: foot per second: fps, 1 fps is 0.3 m/s or 1.1 km/h.
How to read technical data:

Arc length: Conventional arc length is usually determined by AMO (Archery Manufactures Organization) rules. The measurement is made on the bow without a string from one end to the other. However, for some recreational bows, the length of the bow is given in drawn limbs.
String length: The string on recurve bows is typically 4" shorter than the length of the bow and 3" shorter than the length of the non-reflex bow. This does not apply to recreational bows for which the given length is the length of the string.
Brace height: this is the distance from the most concave point of the "handle" in the riser to the bowstring at rest, or the distance from the base mounting socket to the bowstring.
Draw Length: This is the drawn length of the bow, measured between the point where the arrow nock meets the string and the back of the bow (point side).
Draw force: this is the force that must be applied between the grip and the string in order to achieve full draw. For conventional bows, the draw weight is usually specified at 28" length, with the exception of some eastern bows where the draw weight is specified at 31". If a conventional bow is drawn shorter than 28", the bow will have a lower draw weight and a longer draw will have a higher draw. The increase in strength depends on the characteristics of the limbs.
Arm mounting: e.g. arms permanently connected to the handle, mounting screw, ILF system, F system. There are several types of arm mounting on the market, depending on the manufacturer.
